Today at Flavorpill, we were happy to see a young Bill Nye sporting a bow tie in his adorable yearbook photo. We couldn’t believe how one London theater is dealing with patrons who talk during movies (spoiler alert: it involves Lycra-clad ninjas). We discovered Ballast, a clever new website that makes us realize how little we really know about Canada. We watched Jimmy Fallon and Emma Watson dance. We decided that we’d like to see a picture of Naomi Wolf holding her new book while wearing this anatomically correct t-shirt. We practiced portmanteauing. We wished that we could sample all 15 of the world’s most expensive foods. We discovered that Woody Allen and Groucho Marx were pen pals. We wondered how Zelda Fitzgerald would feel about this crazy Zelda Fitzgerald cake. We realized that Louis CK and David Lynch have more in common than their Emmys. And finally, we got some helpful advice on how to navigate all 916 pages of the incredibly hefty September issue of Vogue — and wouldn’t you know, it involves copious amounts of wine!
