In Season 5 of Parks and Recreation, Leslie Knope goes to Washington. Unfortunately, she’s not there to live her dream of becoming America’s first female president (yet), but to visit her boyfriend, Ben Wyatt. That doesn’t mean she won’t get to cross any items off her bucket list, though. In the clip below, which premiered at Entertainment Weekly, Ben introduces Leslie to two of her heroes, Senators Barbara Boxer and Olympia Snowe. It’s an adorable bipartisan meet-cute that ends in an emotional moment for Leslie — and for those of us who love seeing her geek out on women in politics. Click through to watch the video.
