Today at Flavorpill, we took a look at the best and worst sports team relocations in history. We wondered if blowing into Nintendo cartridges all those years actually helped the games load. We got hooked on this Lucille Bluth/Mitt Romney mashup for a hot minute. We chatted about Oscar-ready films that walked away empty-handed. We loved the new Myspace design. We discovered writers’ favorite punctuation marks. We watched a supercut featuring a cliche bit of movie dialogue. We adored F. Scott Fitzgerald’s feisty response to hate mail. We got tips for playing a gig from Thelonious Monk. We saw a trailer for the official Game of Thrones companion book. We wanted to develop all our film using coffee from now on. And finally, we remembered 100 Emmy gowns from last night. Emily Van Camp and Christina Hendricks were some of our favorites, but we still prefer Breaking Bad’s Giancarlo Esposito and his wacky suit.
