There are times when it feels like the toughest part of living in any city is simply walking its sidewalks. Spotted by HyperVocal, the Pedestrian Penalty Card Project is a hilarious collaboration between comedy writer Cory Bortnicker and illustrator Andy Jimison — who you might recognize as the clever team behind the Malcolm Gladwell Book Generator — that highlights some of the most common (not to mention annoying) aspects of getting around town on foot. Click through to check out some of our favorite cards from the series, from “Oversized Umbrella” to “Discourteous Photographing,” and if you’re a fan of their work, download printable, hi-res versions of the full set for $1 via the project’s website.
