What’s On at Flavorpill: The Links That Made the Rounds in Our Office

By Alison Nastasi on Oct 24, 2012 9:00pm

Today at Flavorpill, we entered the Don’t Talk or Text During Movies contest the Alamo Drafthouse is hosting. We enjoyed Ellen’s topical Halloween costumes for kids. We watched Japanese acrobats caught on film by Thomas Edison in 1904. We saw New York City from a floating observation deck. We browsed beautiful shots of micro-waves. We took back Halloween with a costume guide for creative women. We wanted to own the best of James Bond’s gadgets. We put these tiny doors all over the office. We appreciated the art of hand-painted signs. We talked music and Twin Peaks with David Lynch-inspired band, Silent Drape Runners. We remembered these great horror movie lines. And finally, we had 100 ideas that changed photography. “The people’s art” has come a long way.
