Art will forever be asking the same question, both of itself and of us: what is beauty? In Weird Beauty, a collaboration between Russian photographer Alexander Khokhlov and make-up artist Valeriya Kutsan that we spotted over at Laughing Squid, beauty is graphic and colorless, strong lines on a soft, round canvas. The way Kutsan paints the faces of models with incredibly powerful designs — some representative, and some less so — we’re inclined to agree.
