Today at Flavorpill, we got to see the first official photo from the new season of Arrested Development thanks to a tweet from Conan O’Brien. We listened to Tig Notaro discuss her difficult high school years. We took a look at some of the most memorable storm scenes in movie history. We found it interesting that Japanese teens are rebelling by ordering insane amounts of McDonald’s french fries. We were finally able to experience the Mike Meyers/Michael Meyers mash-up that we’ve always dreamed about. We giggled over this parody promo for the iPad Mini. We fell in love with a few of the pieces in Prabal Gurung’s upcoming collection for Target, as modeled by the lovely Olivia Thirlby. We got a little choked up over these then and now photos of kids and their dogs. And finally, we looked at some famous flood-related artworks, worked on some hurricane activity sheets, and tried not to worry too much about Sandy’s impending arrival. Apparently if you’re in the New York area, the worst is yet to come, so we hope you’re reading this somewhere that’s high and dry!
