In addition to characteristically energetic performances of Love This Giant tracks “Who” and “Weekend in the Dust,” the downtown New Yorkers talked about how Hurricane Sandy has affected them. “We went to Brooklyn to take showers,” said Byrne. Of course, Stephen Colbert used that comment as an opening for an indecent proposal and kept the awkwardness going by asking why a Rock Hall of Famer like Byrne would want to work with a kid like Annie Clark.
