Flavorwire

As anyone who’s spent any time with musicians can attest, they’re often not the most practical types. (Nor, for that matter, are most artistically-inclined folk.) So it was with amusement that we came across a photo a while back of one James Jewel Osterberg, aka Iggy Pop, dutifully vacuuming the floor of his new apartment in the early ’80s. We’ve had the picture at the back of our mind ever since, and we thought we’d ease into what’s likely to be a pretty hectic week with a series of similarly amusing pictures of our most endearingly flamboyant musicians doing incongruously domestic activities.
