No, this isn’t the concept art for a Weeknd video (although it’d be pretty ace if it was) — you’re looking at the work of choreographer and artist William Forsythe. The photos you’ll see after the jump document an audio/visual installation called Scattered Crowd, which he’s staged at locations as diverse as the Austrian Houses of Parliament and a warehouse in London. The exhibition features thousands of white balloons through which visitors can wander to their heart’s content, along with an immersive soundtrack. The photos — which we spotted at Colossal — are pretty fantastic on their own, so we can only imagine what the entire experience must be like. Check it out after the jump.
