Today at Flavorpill, we embraced multiple meanings of the word “dude.” We were shocked by the U.K. poster for Lars Von Trier’s forthcoming ball buster, Antichrist, but even more shocked that someone would use the words “revered legacy” and “Third Eye Blind” in the same sentence. We discovered Melanie Fiona’s “Give it to Me Right” — best Zombies sample ever. We laughed at Old Rock Dudes with Meg Ryan Hair, but would argue that it’s going to be hard to sustain. We wondered why the Teenage Mututant Ninja Turles were all dragged out. We felt inspired by these typographic posters. We learned how hard it is to be a sexy short filmmaker. And finally, we downloaded Kind of Bloop — a funny 8-bit tribute to Miles Davis’ Kind of Blue.
