This illustration of the 150-foot tall Hogwarts Castle — part of Universal’s 20-acre Harry Potter-themed extension to Orlando’s Islands of Adventure park — debuted earlier today in the New York Times. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which cost Universal an estimated $265 million to build, opens this spring. The action centers around three rides: Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, which is something high-tech and top secret inside of the castle; Flight of the Hippogriff, a family-friendly rollercoaster; and Dragon Challenge is a twin high-speed coaster inspired by the Triwizard Tournament. We’ve got images after the jump.
Will you be celebrating with a mug of butterbeer at the Three Broomsticks?

Update: And now we’ve got video footage!
