Our friends at Brooklyn Based tipped us off to the exciting work of artist Rachel Sussman, a photographer traveling the globe to document the Oldest Living Things in the World. She’s currently trying to raise money to shoot some 5,000 year old moss in Antarctica, so if you live in New York, check out her fundraiser for the ongoing (and expensive!) project at Galapagos next Tuesday night. Follow her progress on Twitter, and check out more pretty old things after the jump.
