As a publication committed to promoting equality and highlighting cultural figures of all races, genders, sexual orientations, etc., we sincerely apologize for this piece’s lack of inclusiveness. One of Flavorwire’s greatest goals is to promote dialogue, and we welcome all critique and feedback.
