But with autumn approaching, it helps to remember that a good swim can be a transcendent experience even if it takes place inside. The New York-based French photographer Franck Bohbot provides a particularly gorgeous reminder with Swimming Pools, for which he shot a series of indoor pools from clever angles that accentuate their architectural strengths — to the extent that some might remind you of grand cathedrals.
