If you live on the East Coast, you were probably pummeled by the snow storm last night and, if you’re lucky, are still hiding from the polar vortex in your home today. (You’re never too old for a snow day!) Amid the miserable winter cold, you’re likely desperate for those warm summertime breezes and the opportunity to once again feel sweat pool on your forehead. But don’t let the bitter chill fool you: the weather can be just as awful in July, particularly when all that warm air swirls around and creates terrifying summer storms. (It has something to do with science.)
