Blogs to Books: For Your Consideration… Dads in Short Shorts
4:33 pm Friday Oct 16, 2009 by Spencer Lund

Our buddies at Urlesque recently ran an interesting piece highlighting those blogs that have been picked up by publishers. One of our favorites on their list: This is Why You’re Fat by Jessica Amason and Richard Blakeley. She’s having a special Twitter competition on October 29th, so save that date and don’t eat a heavy meal the night before. Check Flavorpill over the next couple days for the details.

One that we’re predicting you’ll see next time around — even if writing this makes us uncomfortable — is the recently-launched Dads in Short Shorts. Sure, not all short shorts are creepy, but there’s a good reason short shorts became passe. The possibility that a testicle could fall out is too close to fruition. And when said testicle is attached to a dad… well, let’s just say it’s pretty creepy. And hilarious — which just so happens to be one of the essential elements for scoring a quick book deal.

What do you think? More importantly, is your Big Man a short shorts offender?
