Our friends at Boing Boing led us to the perfect Friday time suck: This cool archive of National Lampoon covers from 1970 through 1998. We went through them all and selected 20 of our favorites. Admittedly the pickings became much slimmer once we hit the ’90s, but the early years are a visual treasure trove. Many of these hilarious covers could also double as works of art.
