These Portraits of Scotch-Taped Faces Might Make Your Own Face Hurt

Comedian and national treasure Amy Sedaris used to do a character she called “Piglet,” which she’d create, quite physically, by running a long piece of Scotch tape from her nose to her forehead, making her nose look upturned like a pig’s snout. Naturally, that’s what I immediately thought of when I saw Wes Namen‘s series Scotch Tape at Feature Shoot. Using the popular adhesive tape to skew the faces of his models into horrifying, zombie-like beings, Namen’s series is hilarious and creepy — and it makes my face hurt.
