As we previously noted, Bob Dylan’s upcoming Christmas in the Heart sounds like the legend was knee-deep in eggnog in the recording studio. And his first video from the album — for the polka-inspired take on “Must Be Santa” — supports this theory. There’s a wild holiday house party poppin’; Dylan is running around making trouble in a Santa hat; glasses get smashed.
It’s total madness, but for a good cause: Dylan is donating the proceeds from his first-ever holiday album to Feeding America. “It’s a tragedy that more than 35 million people in this country alone — 12 million of those children — often go to bed hungry and wake up each morning unsure of where their next meal is coming from,” he wrote on his website. “I join the good people of Feeding America in the hope that our efforts can bring some food security to people in need during this holiday season.”
