Beach House – “Norway” Beach House is back with their SubPop debut. We are given snow flaking guitars that melt into a woozy drawl, wavering in pitch upon the command of Victoria Legrand’s deep voice. When did Norway become such a cool place? [Download Here] via Pitchfork

Harlem – “Sometimes” It’s time to get vulnerable. Harlem shows us that, beneath the tough and dirty crunch of the distorted guitars, the lo-fi genre actually has a soft side. “Sometimes I cry when I’m lonely…right now I’m crying cuz I love you!” The song is a cover of the Paul Revere & the Raiders song, “Sometimes.” [Download Here] via Gorilla Vs. Bear

Edward Sharpe & Magnetic Zeros – “Home” “Home is wherever I’m with you,” sing the Magnetic Zeros amidst cowboy “Hey!’s,” whistling, and sprinkles of honky tonk piano. The track is fiercely wistful, a thick brand of western folk that can only be produced by a band of a dozen members. [Download Here] via Whale in a Cubicle

The Big Pink – “Sweet Dreams” (Beyonce Cover) Yes, the band that wrote this song is now covering that song. Yes, it is a melodramaticized version of the Sasha Fierce classic. [Download Here] via Stereogum

tUnE-YaRds – “Hatari” The Dirty Projectors’ opening act that some say upstaged the Dirty Projectors themselves! “Hatari” involves spastic, wavering vocals, like that of a Dave Longstrength female counterpart. The beat is primitive and the singing has a tinge of yodeling influence – which, of course, is always a good thing. [Download Here] via Fluxblog

Animal Collective – “Graze” From the newly released leaked Fall Be Kind EP by Animal Collective! “Please open my eyes and let light in,” sings Avey Tare, the music mysteriously echoing, swirling around his voice. It’s not tribal or jumpy like something off of Merriweather Post Pavilion – until the flute breakdown midway through. [Download Here] via I like Hot Cakes

Best Coast – “When I’m With You” Nostalgic, lo-fi 60’s pop with the quintessential I miss my love chorus “I haaate sleeeepingg alllone.” [Download Here] via Pop Tarts Suck Toasted

The Golden Filter – “Thunderbird” A funky McFunk synth bassline paired with delicate neo-disco singing, all slathered atop a groovin’ beat. Yummy. [Download Here] via Gorilla Vs. Bear
