Here’s the First Full Trailer for the Tina Fey/Amy Poehler Comedy ‘Sisters’

Since its announcement last year, Sisters has been one of our can’t-miss movies for 2015, pairing Tina Fey and Amy Poehler onscreen for the first time since Baby Mama, with a script by Paula Pell, a 15-year veteran of Saturday Night Live. After a teaser back in January, Universal is releasing (presumably attached to Trainwreck, which is some A+ target marketing) the first full trailer for the movie, and it looks pretty great:

Okay, sure, it’s a little broader than we might expect from the brainy Fey and Poehler, but that seems part of its charm—the thought of Fey, perpetually cast (usually by herself) as an asexual square, playing a hard-partying bad girl is particularly tantalizing. Throw in a supporting cast that includes Diane Weist, The Mindy Project’s Ike Barinholtz, and a rogue’s gallery of SNL talent (Maya Rudolph, Rachel Dratch, Kate McKinnon, Bobby Moynihan), and you’ve got the makings for a pretty dynamite comedy.

And it’ll need to be good—Sisters is currently slated for release on December 18, the same day as a little something called Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
