Orange is the New Black’s Uzo Aduba and Cat Deeley announced the 2015 Emmy nominations this morning. Of immediate note was the fact that after much deserved groaning about the award show-snubbing(s) of Orphan Black‘s Tatiana Maslany, she was finally nominated for Outstanding Actress in a Drama — of course, she’ll be up against the inimitable Taraji P. Henson, so it’s no easy year in that category. Meanwhile, Better Call Saul looks to be strongly carrying Breaking Bad‘s torch, with nominations for Outstanding Drama (which Breaking Bad won last year), Outstanding Actor in a Drama for Bob Odenkirk, and Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama for Jonathan Banks. In comedy categories, new favorites like Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Transparent were thankfully awarded with numerous nominations. See the full list:
