Startlingly Beautiful Infra-Red Photos of Abandoned Buildings and Places

Last time we featured the work of British photographer Andy Lee, he was taking striking infra-red photos of Icelandic landscapes, using an interesting technique to capture a new way of looking at subject matter that isn’t exactly under-represented in the world of photography. His newest series applies the same idea to another source of images that one tends to see a lot of — abandoned buildings and ruins. The series, simply titled Abandoned, is another demonstration that in the hands of a worthy artist, even the most played-out subject matter can be rendered in a way that’s beautiful in an entirely new way.
