Last night, Britney Spears confirmed that she will be guest starring in one of her favorite shows, Jane The Virgin. She tweeted:
The opportunity arose after executive producer Jennie Snyder, discovered that Spears is an avid fan of the series. The CW specified that Spears will guest star on the second season’s fifth episode alongside thrilled co-actors, Gina Rodriguez and Jaime Camil. She will be playing herself — but the Britney Spears of the Jane the Virgin world just so happens to be the nemesis of Camil’s character, Rogelio de la Vega.
Jane the Virgin’s second season will premiere on October 12 on The CW.
