Photos of Radiohead in the Studio Suggest New Album is Really Happening

Robert Ziegler, who conducted the The London Telefilmonic Orchestra for Radiohead’s self-released album The King of Limbs in 2011, has tweeted some in-studio photos of the English band. The pictures back up Radiohead drummer Philip Selway’s statements earlier this week that the group is hard at work on a new album.

“We’ve got quite a busy autumn coming up. We want to finish a record and that’s where we’re at. We’re just launching ourselves into it,” Selway told NME. “For so long we kind of played exclusively with each other and that takes you so far, so I suppose from album to album you try to push yourself beyond your comfort zone,” he also said — suggesting there will be collaborators on the new release. And then these photos of Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Ed O’Brien, and Nigel Godrich appeared. NME reminds us that Selway earlier stated the album probably won’t be out during 2015 — but if you’re dreaming about buying album nine for the holidays, this fantasy fodder should tide you over.
