A new trailer for the final Hunger Games film, Mockingjay – Part 2 serves as a reminder that Katniss did not initially become a revolutionary to save the world, but to keep her sister safe.
For the uninitiated, the events of The Hunger Games series are triggered by heroine Katniss Everdeen’s decision to volunteer for the gladiatorial competition, after her younger sister Prim is drafted to compete.
“Her sacrifice is the ultimate tribute,” the trailer declares.
The trailer, titled For Prim, provides a quick refresher for the first three films through the lens of a relationship between two sisters.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 opens in theaters on November 20.
