Vintage Trading Cards Depicting Costumed Professions for Women in the Future

Out of all the vintage cheesecake photos we’ve stumbled across, this collection of trading cards depicting imagined occupations for women in the future is the most fascinating. The cards come from French artist Albert Bergeret circa 1902, titled Women of the Future. The women pose proudly and seem to really enjoy creating a persona for their profession — so I guess we can forgive the photographer for exploiting women’s liberation by having the models pose in their underwear for some of the pictures. Cheeky smiles, defiant gazes, and absurd costumes await you in our gallery.
