To promote the upcoming release of The Peanuts Movie, 20th Century Fox has released a second trailer for the film, and created a website that gives you the ability to “Peanutize” yourself.
The second trailer is similar to the first: Charlie Brown, ever the underdog (with a dog), pines for the little red-haired girl moving into town as all the other kids gawk. “I just hope this new kid has never heard of me. It’s not often you get the opportunity to start over with a clean slate,” he ponders before falling flat on his face.
Charlie Brown making a fool of himself, particularly in front of a love interest (or even while attempting to kick a football), is a device used frequently throughout its 65 year history. The Peanuts Movie will be the first feature film in over thirty-five years (the last being 1980’s Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown (and Don’t Come Back!!)) and will attempt to introduce a new generation of children to these beloved Charles Schulz characters (via the perceived allure of 3D) and that jaunty piano theme.

The Peanuts Movie will be released on November 6, 2015.
