Will Butler (Arcade Fire band-member, and brother to Win) has released an official video for “Anna,” one of the highlights off of Policy, his debut album that was released earlier this year.
Directed by Brantley Gutierrez, the whimsically maritime-themed video stars Emma Stone as the titular Anna, an enigmatic, noir-esque vixen who sneaks and dances throughout a fleet, bumping into sailors that are equally inclined to choreography. Stone’s comedic allure reverberates throughout the music video, from her faux-coyness and exaggerated gyrating to her bulging crazy-eyes and melodramatic facial expressions.
