Pic of the Day: Performance Art or Seasonal Bar Crawl?

From our SantaCon 2008 correspondent, Flavorpill Advertising Manager Brent Van Dyke: “Ho, Ho, Ho, my lord! Nearly 1,000 Father Christmases gathered in front of the 33rd Street post office on Saturday morning. After parading through Macy’s onto Herald Square, we promptly began the bar crawl; the city may have noticed they had a drunken Santa issue building. Lost articles of clothing. Random mistletoe attacks on strangers. Offers to innocent pedestrians to sit on Santa’s lap. The public didn’t know whether to dance, run or hide the children.

“From there Santa took over Grand Central Station and the 6 train leading to the South Street Seaport. A little jing jing mingling in the sun and we took over the Staten Island Ferry. This would be where I start to forget exact details…blame the egg nog. Next thing I new Santa was at a club. If you dig deep enough you’ll probably find very incriminating photos of me and other Santas working off that bowl full of jelly. SantaCon is awesome and I highly suggest you take advantage next year. If every Christmas was like this last Saturday then yes, I would wish every day was Christmas.”
