Tina Fey reprised her role as Sarah Palin this past weekend when she co-hosted the winter finale of Saturday Night Live with Amy Poehler. Yesterday, Palin responded with a convincing impression of Fey—or more specifically, Fey’s Liz Lemon of 30 Rock.

In 31 Rock, Palin stars as “Lynne Melon,” a TV writer who left a small town for the big city but is now struggling to have it all (i.e., a safe space, a Big Gulp, and an NBC page—played by former-presidential hopeful, Lindsey Graham). Palin’s former running mate, John McCain also makes a cameo as the mentor equivalent to Alec Baldwin’s Jack Donaghy.

Kevin Brown (who played the erudite Dot Com on 30 Rock) is the common denominator between the actual show and the spoof, although his appearance in the spoof is sort of a combination of Dot Com and Tracy Morgan’s “Tracy Jordan” character; he pesters Lynne about missing their book club meeting, where they were reading (coincidentally) Palin’s new book, Sweet Freedom: A Devotional .

31 Rock will debut “this winter on Independent Journal… maybe”
