Kanye Will Premiere ‘Swish’ Live at MSG Event to Be Screened Globally

Kanye’s art is for the people. He’s made this clear by projecting clips of Yeezus singles on the facades of buildings, declaring his intention to run for presidency in 2020, and high-minded statements about the absurdity of expensive fashion — even though he made $585 sweatpants. And now, he’s reportedly going to be premiering Swish at Madison Square Garden, in an event that will be screened in theaters across the world.

Pitchfork’s report cites Reddit as the source of the fact that it will be screened across the globe, as multiple theaters have the event listed on their sites. The event summary listed here says that Vanessa Beecroft will perform, but that’s not been confirmed by anyone in Kanye’s camp — even his newest publicist, Kim.

There’s also a poster advertising the event, according to which tickets can be bought here, but as of right now the suggested URL leads to a plain sheet of black.

The expected release date for Swish is February 11, and Kanye recently released a picture of a handwritten tracklist that shows that previously released tracks “No More Parties in LA,” “Wolves,” “Fade,” and “Real Friends” will be included. So, that means we’ve already heard nearly half of the album.
