Bob Dylan Announces Tour and New Album ‘Fallen Angels’

Since releasing his first album in 1962, Bob Dylan has never gone more than five years without releasing an album. That means that Fallen Angels, the album he just announced, will be his 37th studio album to date. Wow.

Dylan, who turns 75 in May, also announced that he’s going on tour in support of Fallen Angels, which means he’ll be croaking his way around the world, and might even end up croaking into a microphone in a city near you.

There’s no solid release date confirmed, but Fallen Angels will most likely be out this summer. The full list of tour dates is below. Mavis Staples will be the opening act for most summer shows (indicated with an *), and that might be even more exciting than getting to see Dylan. Tickets come with a redemption code for a digital download of the album, and will be available here.
