Last week we got the great Gilmore Girls news that Melissa McCarthy would be returning to the show as Sookie St. James. And today, even better news: photos from the set of the soon-to-be-returning Gilmore Girls, featuring all our favorite citizens of Star Hollow.
If you haven’t heard, the Netflix revival will arrive as four 90-minute movies (that’s like 12 episodes!). It’s being written and directed by the show’s original writer/director Amy Sherman-Palladino, and finds our heroes nine years removed from the events of the series. No date yet for the release though.
As for the photos, we’ve got Lorelai, Rory, Luke, Emily, and a bunch of others. Click through the slideshow to see ’em all, but fair warning: no Sookie yet. Another warning: Rory is definitely teaching a class on Jane Eyre in the first of these pics, which is just about perfect.
