The wait for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them seems impossibly long from where we’re standing (November 18 is a whole seven months away), but that isn’t stopping J.K. Rowling & Co. from teasing us even more.
Today, Scholastic gave us yet another November date to anxiously anticipate. According to an announcement, there will be a book (both hardcover and electronic) release of the film’s screenplay on November 19th, the day following the feature film’s release.
Although this announcement isn’t as exciting as, say, an actual novel meant to accompany the film — and one that would come before the movie’s premiere instead of on the date following its release — something is always better than nothing, right?
The hardcover version of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be sold for $24.99 in the US and $29.99 in Canada. Of course the book is also being released in England, although UK distribution is being handled by Little Brown Book Group. Finally, the electronic version of the book is being published by J.K. Rowling’s Pottermore company and is already available for preorder.
