She’s Raj’s adorable but short-lived girlfriend on The Big Bang Theory. She’s half of Garfunkel and Oates (if you haven’t heard them, catch up here and here or on their Netflix show). And apparently, for the past ten years, Kate Micucci (yes, it’s pronounced like that) also been a practicing artiste. Who knew she was hiding a Renaissance woman inside that tiny body? Click through to have a first look at a selection of work from Micucci’s latest art show, “Love and Pasta,” which premieres today at Gallery1988 in East Los Angeles. If the show is anything like the gallery’s recent exhibit on the West Side, which is essentially funky Bob’s Burger’s fan art, it will surely be a good time. It looks like free hugs and loyal dogs will abound, but also, part of the proceeds will go to 826LA, which supports children’s writing education, so you really have no excuse to miss out.
