Kendrick Lamar makes his way back to the White House for a Fourth of July concert on the South Lawn honoring military heroes. “White House staff and their families from throughout the administration will also attend this event for the fireworks viewing,” White House press secretary Josh Earnest stated. “There will also be a performance on Monday evening by fellow Kansas Citian Janelle Monáe and Kendrick Lamar.” The celebration comes after President Barack Obama named Lamar’s “How Much a Dollar Cost” as his favorite song of 2015, and the rapper visited the White House earlier this year to meet with the President in the Oval Office.
