Fallon Got ‘Stranger Things’ Star Millie Bobby Brown to Rap Nicki Minaj’s Verse From “Monster”

The Stranger Things kids — Gaten Matarazzo, Millie Bobby Brown, Caleb McLaughlin, and Finn Wolfhard — appeared in two segments on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night, one in which they were themselves and played a kid-oriented (it involved silly string, which honestly could have been just as much for the ever-childlike Fallon’s amusement as theirs) talk show game, and another in which they played their Stranger Things characters.

The silly string game — dubbed “Stranger Strings” — was a get-to-know-everyone exercise, in which little known facts about each person were written on cards that were read aloud, after which they’d string the person they guessed the card was about. Perhaps the best fact — and the most fruitful as far as its results — was that one of the people present could perfectly rap Nicki Minaj’s verse from Monster; everyone present seemed to know it was Millie Bobby Brown, and so once the silly string was cleared, she was prompted to perform it:

There was also a mostly unfunny sketch (which will still likely appeal to many, given the waves of Barb-aggrandizing among the masses), in which Barb reappears (played by Tonight Show writer A.D. Miles) — and isn’t too happy with the group of kids for only caring about their buddy Will, and leaving her to rot in the Upside Down:
