Alicia Keys and Chance the Rapper came together yesterday for Keep a Child Alive’s 13th annual Black Ball charity event, “an evening of music and philanthropy to reignite the spirit of 80’s activism to end AIDS,” which Keys also hosted, and which featured other performances from Salt-N-Pepa, Patti Smith, and A$AP Rocky, all of which were live streamed on Tidal last night. Per Billboard, Chance the Rapper referred to it as “probably the most important thing [he’s] done in awhile.”

Performing the reprise of “Blessings” from the rapper’s acclaimed mixtape, Coloring Book, Alicia Keys played piano and sang with Chance last night at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom. (Keys also played her own music, including “No One” and “Holy War,” a track off her upcoming album, and returned to perform with A$AP Rocky for his set)

Unfortunately, the footage from the event beyond Tidal exits in fragmentary Instagram clips, but you can piece them together to get an idea of what the full performance was like.
