We guess 2017 will be the year to fret over which Elisabeth Moss project to watch first. The actress will be starring in season two of the acclaimed Top of the Lake and a new 10-episode series from Hulu based on Margaret Atwood’s devastating The Handmaid’s Tale. A trailer for the latter was released during today’s TCA event with the streaming service. Moss stars as a “handmaid” in the feminist dystopian story, which is a fertile woman enslaved for reproductive purposes by the male-dominated ruling class hoping to repopulate the world. The series also stars Orange is the New Black’s Samira Wiley, Alexis, Bledel, Joseph Fiennes, Yvonne Strahovski, Max Minghella, Madeline Brewer, Ann Dowd and O-T Fagbenle. Moss also serves as a producer on the project. The Handmaid’s Tale premieres on Wednesday, April 26. See a preview, below.
