Two titans of comedy, Louis C.K. and Albert Brooks, are set to appear in a new animated series that’s tentatively being called The Cops. Co-created by the comedians, TBS has given the greenlight to ten episodes of The Cops, which stars the actors as “two Los Angeles patrolmen trying their best to protect and serve, sometimes failing at both. Ride with them as they patrol one of the biggest cities in the world, then go home with them and be glad you’re not married to either,” according to a network press release. This marks a big push for animated comedy projects from TBS for 2018, joining American Dad! (From Seth MacFarlane), the upcoming Tarantula, which is set at a seedy hotel, and Final Space, from New Prime producer/actor Olan Rogers. This is not the first animated show for C.K. and Brooks, as both actors lent their talents to The Secret Life of Pets, and Brooks was part of the voice cast for Finding Dory.
