With less than a week until the season premiere on Netflix, a Spotify streaming playlist of the new Stranger Things season 2 soundtrack has arrived. “In Season 2 we’re introducing new styles of composition, while still revisiting old themes when appropriate,” S U R V I V E members Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein told Pitchfork about the new soundtrack: “We’ve created new elements that are necessary to support the story, but still want to remain true to the sound of season 1.” That sound was appropriately synth-heavy (à la John Carpenter).

Meanwhile, the show’s new poster is very Drew Struzan-y and ‘80s-styled; feast your eyes on the monster (Thessalhydra) looming in the background.

So sit back, sip your pumpkin spice whatever, and get spooky with Stranger Things on repeat, below. The series debuts on October 27 on Netflix and stars Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Gaten Matarazzo, Charlie Heaton, Cara Buono, Matthew Modine, Noah Schnapp, Dacre Montgomery, Joe Keery, and Sadie Sink.
