Painterly Photos of Winter in Norway

Share:

When Polish photographer Mikołaj Gospodarek went looking for lush winter landscapes, he ended up finding them in Nordkapp, a municipality in Finnmark county, Norway. “I traveled almost 1000 km in Scandinavian wilderness,” he writes on Bored Panda. “The road was often very slippery and covered with ice. The temperature dropped below -20 ° C at times.”

But he was rewarded for his trouble by a serious of gorgeous images, capturing rolling landscapes bathed in snow and ice. We’ve selected some of our favorites; you can see more by following Gospodarek on Instagram, or checking out his website.
