We consider this trailer for Oliver Stone’s Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps as new evidence for our ever-growing Shia-LaBoeuf-ruins-all-franchises-that-he-touches folder. That said, aside from him (and the barfy title), it looks pretty kick-ass, so we’ll probably see it. Actually, who are we kidding? Cute-as-a-button Carey Mulligan is in it as Winnie Gecko, so we’ll definitely see it.
What are your thoughts? Is this going to be a commercial comeback for Stone? It’s been over a decade since he’s helmed anything that resembled a box office success. Did you chortle at the Zack Morris phone too? Most importantly, can you believe that they found a way to work in the infamous “greed is good” line?
