Today at Flavorpill, we judged poets by the thickness of their beards. We wanted this Harry Potter theme/Biggie remix to be Flavorwire’s official song. We were excited by the news that Spike Jonze is working with Arcade Fire on a short film. We feared the Twitter wrath of Ice T and his “hot bowl of dicks.” We were reminded of why it’s always smart to wear a helmet when you’re biking in New York City. We hoped that the ninth time will be the charm for Elizabeth Taylor. We thought animated Sean Connery looked silly — which makes sense because he plays a retired, skateboarding veterinarian. We rocked out to the latest PS 22 cover: Beach House’s “Zebra.” And finally, we couldn’t wait to watch the last 10 episodes of The Tudors, which launches its fourth and final season on Sunday.
