So this is exciting: Flavorpill favorite Molly Dilworth has been selected to make the pedestrian plazas in Times Square pretty as part of the Green Light for Midtown project. Her winning proposal for “Cool Water, Hot Island” — which you see above — is based on NASA’s infrared heat data of Manhattan. Dilworth will receive $15,000 in prize money and 18 months of display time, starting in July. How cool is that? [via ANIMAL]
