Few authors get our pulses racing like Margaret Atwood and Octavia E. Butler, and luckily enough, our friends at The Folio Society have just released gorgeous new editions of important works by both. Their release of Atwood's 2003 speculative fiction novel Oryx and Crake features a new introduction by the author, alongside fascinating illustrations by Harriet Lee-Merrion; Butler's 1979 hybrid of science fiction and slave narrative, Kindred, gives us a new introduction by Tananarive Due and evocative art by James E. Ransome. Both books are available now; we're happy to share this selection of illustrations from both.
