There's something indelible, beautiful, and more than a little haunting about images of public and private spaces that are no longer in use - be they shuttered factories, abandoned theaters, or unsold houses. New Jersey-based photographer Kim Zier (who came to our attention via Bored Panda) seeks out those spaces and, in these gorgeous images, somehow captures not only their ramshackle present, but their glorious past.
